A More Personal Recap of 2016 | Motivational Monday

Motivational Monday | 2016 Recap

I think we’ve all learned by now that life has moments when it’s just not fair. When you work so hard to make a better life for yourself and it seems like the world is pushing back at you. The world is not intentionally setting you up for failure – it’s telling you, “Just keep going. You can make it. Just work a little harder.” Personally, life really pushed backed at me during 2016. Actually, life threw me into a landslide. It flipped my world upside down. But then … everything was okay again after a lot of hard work.

If it’s one thing that 2016 has taught me, it is to never give up hope! Life can be extremely hard – but it can also be extremely fulfilling! I learned that life is worth living – through the good, the bad, and the interesting. I also learned that life is so much easier to survive when one has a purpose. My purpose is serving the amazing clients that choose to work with such a quirky wedding photographer!

I cannot be happier with how much Steph Parker Photo has grown! Instead of getting frustrated and throwing in the towel this year, I dug deep and truly invested in my business, but most of all, in my clients. By investing in my clients, I not only exceeded my goals of providing my clients with a fantastic experience, but I also have done so much for myself. By putting more thought and effort into making my clients’ experiences more enjoyable, I began investing in a truer version of happiness for myself. By giving back, whether it be by providing a listening ear or even a small gift to show appreciation and friendship, I’ve never been happier knowing that my clients feel valued and appreciated.

I really hope that you’ll check back in the new year to experience more amazing moments with me and to celebrate in the joy of life filled with love! I’m a wedding photographer and my business specializes in love. Nothing can keep me down for long knowing that a thing such as love exists.
