I met up with Natalie and Jason towards the end of December for a quick snowy couples session. I’ve been drooling over a new camera body for YEARS and with the recent release of a new lens I’ve also been waiting for, I decided to rent the gear for a weekend and put out a model call.
Natalie was one of the first to respond to it and I’m so glad she did! I’ve seen her name pop up in the local networking group I’m a member of, but we’d never met in person. She’s a fantastic makeup artist and I’m hoping we get to collaborate on projects in the future! Here’s a link to view her portfolio.
The really funny thing about Ohio (also obvious) is that the weather is incredibly unpredictable! The weekend we met up for these photos was also the first big snow of the year and I just loved finally having a pretty snow portrait session. It’s also really funny that the next morning, when I looked out the window, all of the snow was gone! The only evidence of there being snow was when I looked at the photos I had taken the day before. And then it snowed again the next day. Typical.
I’m so glad that Natalie contacted me and gave me the opportunity to meet her and her boyfriend, Jason! They’re a very sweet couple and I can’t wait to follow their journey through life. They’ve been dating for a couple of years now and are a super relaxed couple. Thanks again for modeling for me, you guys!
My favorite images I took during the snow session are below and were taken with my new favorite lens – the 85mm Sigma Art! I bought it and my new camera body the day after this session! I can’t wait to use it again soon 🙂
